Founded in 1999 by Graham Payne, Counties Ready Mix Ltd has grown from strength to strength. We have a vast depth of industry knowledge, experience and passion along with a modern plant and trucking fleet which enables Counties Ready Mix Ltd to provide leading ready mixed concrete products to the local construction industry.Counties Ready Mix Ltd prides themselves on listening to the needs of their customers and delivering the results the customers need to succeed. The team at Counties Ready Mix Ltd are committed to providing a reliable and fast service to their customers every time.
Because we are a locally privately owned company, we believe we care more about our customers and have a better understanding of what they want. Our current fleet of 25 mixer trucks allows us to deliver over 120m3 per round.
Our two NZRMCA audited and certified plants provide customers with assured supply. We proudly only use 100% New Zealand produced cements in our concrete and source our materials from quality suppliers such as Golden Bay Cement and Sika admixtures.
Counties Ready Mix operates a robust Health & Safety program with regular updates and staff contributions.

We promote environmental awareness and as a result of that have minimised our environmental footprint substantially. Any surplus concrete is used to manufacture our interlocking BigBlocks® product (www.bigblocks.co.nz) allowing the waste concrete a "second life" as a low cost but highly durable building material. All wash water is recycled on site. Our modern fleet of fuel efficient trucks minimises fuel consumption greatly. Embodied greenhouse gasses are minimised through the use of pozzolans such as fly ash where appropriate.
Products & Services
Ready Mixed Concrete
Counties Ready Mix main function is the production and supply of ready mixed concrete to the South Auckland and Franklin districts. We pride ourselves on quality products and exceptional service which are both frequently touted attributes but seldom regularly delivered on in our industry. This approach has developed strong relationships with customers who have faith in the solutions we provide. All standard grades from 17.5 to 50MPa are supplied along with specialist concretes such as high strength concrete, self compacting, permeable, decorative fibre reinforced concretes and high durability concretes.
Technical Services
Counties Ready Mix operates an onsite lab for testing (both on site and off) and customer reporting. Customers may also require IANZ testing which can be accommodated also.
Supporting Products
Counties Ready Mix supplies supporting products as required by the industry to ensure projects run smoothly such as curing compounds, release agents, finishing aids, waterproofers, concrete sealers additives, and admixtures.
Other Products
We also supply reinforcing steel, mesh, polythene, polystyrene pods for raft floors and hand tools
